Costume designers, fashion historians, fiber artists, sewing instructors and other "fashion anthropologists" from around Puget Sound will gather in Port Angeles this weekend to present "Threads of History," a wearable art exhibit staged at six downtown galleries.

The Patterson Township Historical Society is still taking registration for this year's historical trail ride, scheduled for Saturday, May 8, beginning at 11 a.m. at 1666 Condit Road. The day will include a barbecue at 4 p.m., a poker run, entertainment, history and an optional hay ride for up to 15 participants without horses.
