An intensive planning charrette for Purcellville's eastern gateway at the intersections of Rt. 7 Business and Rt. 287 yielded calls for greater walkability, signage, landscaping and an open feel to the area, a small, boutique hotel, restaurants, retention of the small-town character and reflection of the town's long history as the agricultural hub of western Loudoun.
